About Me

I originally started out as a Studio Art major with an emphasis in painting after taking one painting class on a whim and falling in love with the medium. My paintings shifted over time to have a more graphic quality to them. After taking several graphic design classes (and filling up my portfolio), I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design and my Museum Studies Certificate from the University of Northern Iowa.

In 2025, I worked as a contract design consultant for the Black Hawk County Cancer Steering Committee, where I was selected to design their official logo. I led the entire process, from early concept development to the final design, while collaborating closely with committee members to ensure the result reflected their mission.

In 2024, I gained hands-on museum experience as an Art Museum Intern at the Flatwater Folk Art Museum in Brownville, Nebraska. There, I curated and designed an exhibition titled Functional Folk Art: Beauty in Everyday Objects. This is one of my favorite experiences I have had so far.

I was born in Iowa, but have moved all over the Midwest (and briefly Texas). I like to think this shaped my perspective since I have been exposed to so many different people and places. I am currently living in Iowa, and I am still developing my identity as an artist.

Thanks for visiting my portfolio!
